  5. Serve. Place a dish on the table to serve.

Method 2: Morning Tea Sandwich

  1. Place the sandwich bread on the table.
  2. Spread the preserves or jam across the slice.
  3. Make sure to press the slices to join them.
  4. Clean the crusts off the bread sandwich.
  5. Then cut into neat rectangular shapes, or into finger sticks.
  6. Set them out neatly on a plate or on a cake stand.

Method 3: Grilled jam and cream cheese sandwich

  1. Lay the sandwich bread on the work surface.
  2. Distribute the cheese onto two bread slices.
  3. Spread the preserves or jam made from strawberries on the 2 other slices.
  4. Make sure to press the two slices together. Apply one slice of cream cheese onto one strawberry jam/preserves slice.
  5. The butter should be melted in a frying pan, or in a skillet. Use medium heat.
  6. Spread butter on every sandwich’s surface.
  7. Place the sandwich sandwiches that have been fried in the skillet/frying pan. Cook on medium heat until the sandwich is golden brown. This should take about 4 to 5 minutes.
